Chocolate Loaf w/t Pistachio Frosting

What a Good Friday it is! 🌺
In the spirit of the season, we’ve put together a chocolate loaf with pistachio frosting recipe for you to try at home using our delicious Rich Cacao Pistachio Butter.

  1. Preheat the oven to 160°C and grease a loaf tin.
  2. Mix flour, baking powder, sugar and cacao in a large bowl, mix until combined.
  3. Add the oil and pistachio drink, rich cacao pistachio butter. Mix until combined.
  4. Add the chocolate chips and gently mix until evenly distributed.
  5. Pour into a loaf tin and gently tap the tin into the surface. Place in the oven for 50 minutes. Check with a skewer if it's done, it should come out clean.
  6. Whilst it's in the oven, make a frosting.
  7. Place all ingredients in a bowl. Mix it with a spoon until it's fluffy and creamy. If it's too thick, add more nut butter or a tbsp of milk alternative.
  8. Once done, place the loaf on a cooling rack and when completely cool, spoon the frosting on the top with a back of a spoon, top with some mini chocolate eggs.

For the batter:

240g flour 

2 tbsp baking powder 

60g cacao powder 

120g caster sugar 

120ml rapeseed oil 

50g rich cacao pistachio butter 

350ml pistachio drink 

For the frosting:

2 tbsp maple syrup 

20g cacao powder 

50g rich cacao pistachio butter
