Looking for an easy appetizer that will WOW your guests? These baked figs are a breeze to make, and even easier to gobble up! Use your favourite cream cheese (or vegan alternative), and our delicious Smooth 100% Pure Pistachio Butter to make these delicious bites.
♥ 4 Fresh figs
♥ 4 tsp Cream Cheese or Vegan Cream Cheese
♥ 1 Tbsp Chopped Pistachio Kernels
♥ 4 tsp Smooth 100% Pure Pistachio Butter
♥ Preheat oven to 175C. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
♥ Using a paring (small) knife, cut an ‘X’ into the top of each fig – don’t cut all the way down! Spread open the fig slightly.
♥ Place 1 tsp of cream cheese into each fig, place on baking tray, and bake for 10 minutes or until soft
♥ After figs have softened, drizzle with approximately 1tsp of pistachio butter and pistachio kernels
